My first visit back to Tophill since the summer holidays proved to be a long relatively unproductive day.

The numerous fly overs by RAF aircraft did not help matters and other than a lone swan and a Yellow Wagtail there was little to see.

I hope that as the Autumn migration period approaches things will get busier
