Just back from two and a half days spent at Kielder Water in Northumberland hoping to photograph the Osprey currently breeding there fishing.

Totally unsuccessful trip with two days spent sat in a hide watching torrential rain and no decent photos taken.

Camping a complete nightmare with midges absolutely everywhere. The only bright spot was the local pub which served superb home cooked food and great beer.

Oh well better luck next year !
