A quiet Autumn
01/12/2015
A couple of recent visits to my local nature reserve ,Tophill Low, have proved to be pretty quiet.
Apart from a very brief sighting of the local Dog Otter there was not too much to see.
I suspect the mild autumn and lack of easterly winds have delayed the influx of migrants who will hopefully arrive later.
A family visit to Scarborough did give a pleasant surprise with both a Black Necked Grebe and a Little Auk seen in the harbour area.
Hopefully December will be a little more fruitful in terms of photos !
